Back Background: Carrefour is one of the largest employers in Romania, with a team of over 17,000 members in 2017. Our mission was to create, together with our good friends and colleagues from Zee51, Carrefour’s first Employer Branding nationwide campaign, after 16 years of presence in Romania. The EB Campaign had to have a national reach and be carried out in several stages, starting March 2017. The Employer Branding campaign aims to explain the true extent of one of the largest employers in Romania, and all of the material has been set to recreate the atmosphere of a campaign made by the employees themselves, according to their own experiences at Carrefour. With a team of over 17,000 members in 2017 and a variety of services that far exceed the standard qualities of a retailer, Carrefour is much more than that. Background: As one of the largest employers in Romania and with a team of over 17,000 members, Carrefour’s HR department has the important role and mission of staying up to date with the latest recruitment techniques and best practices in this area. So, long story short, together with My HR Lab & Zee51, we have developed an internal campaign for enrollment in recruitment workshops and, at the same time, managed to also turn it into an external Employer Branding campaign and raise awareness on the outdated practices in the field of recruitment. The main character in our videos was Mr. Zaur, interpreted by Alexandru Potocean, a manager with bad habits that doesn’t fit in our times. The campaign touched on the funny side, but the message was important: times are changing, and the managers need to evolve. That’s why we’ve concluded with some good examples & testimonials from the company. Background: Located in the historic center of Bucharest, Bicicleta (Bicycle Bar) is an unconventional and unique concept bar. Since 2012, it became a checkpoint for bicycle lovers, urban artists and creative people. The concept is based on recycling bicycle parts in order to make a cosy place where people can enjoy fine drinks with a proper background music. Bicicleta bar made a buzz around the world, being featured in “20 Of The World’s Best Restaurant And Bar Interior Designs” from BoredPanda.com and on other design and tourism websites.
